Cyathea dealbata is also called 'Ponga' of 'Silver tree fern'.
This is the New-Zealand National Symbol, and is a Majestic tree fern with mature fronds that can grow about 4 m long, which have a distinctive silvery colour underside. The trunk can be as tall as 10 m or more. It easily grows in a sheltered situation and eventually grows in our climate 2 to 4 cm per year depending on conditions, but frond growth is rapid. Cyathea dealbata resembles Cyathea milnei, which differs in lacking the silvery colour on the underside of the fronds. -4C°.

In our webshop we have this tree fern for sale.
