Growth Habits: Globular cactus, generally solitary, dark green stem, up to 20 inches in diameter (50 cm), 50 ribs.
Blooming Habits: deep red to orange flowers, in summer, 2 inches in diameter (5 cm).
Watering Needs: Little water, needs good drainage.
