Because of the large amounts of request from all over Europe, it took some time before this newsletter came out, therefore a lot of news!

Yucca rostata

 
 

Field growing.

On 4000 m2 we have a large stock of field growing Yucca rostrata, Yucca thompsoniana and Yucca carnerosana so that delivery of rooted ones will be easier in the future.

 
 
In spite of the huge request for potted yucca's, we try to keep the stock of potted plants up to date.
Not only the big rostrata's but also the small ones are well-known for their good qualitty.
Very rare and exclusive: rostrata's with fat multi-headed trunks!

Field growing plants in our nursery.

Yucca thompsoniana is one of the best suited yucca's for the garden. Although mostly known because it's family of the Yucca rostrata, it is better resistant to frost and moisture and it roots faster, which makes it an excellent outdoor yucca. Unfortunately hard to get and therefore not well-known, but as you can see, Tropical Centre will change this!

Tropical Centre on the move....
The outside terrain is ready! On the photo only a small part of the terrain, which is specially meant for palms and all other big plants which do not fit in our greenhouse...

Finally we started working at our outside mexican garden! Just like the inside garden, you will find here the most unique and rare yucca's, of which you can convince yourself every year how they grow and that they belong to the best exotic plants for outside gardening. Plants of 3-4 mtr height have already been planted.
In the greenhouse we have an informationcorner, with our website, so all the names and information of the plants is available, in case you can't remember what the exact name was...
Our "fleet of cars" has been extended with a Mercedes sprinter, so heavier and bigger plants can be transported....
