THE GIANT, YUCCA FAXONIANA IS BACK!!!

I wish you much reading pleasure, Roland Smeets

Yucca faxoniana
We have them branched and unbranched
The biggest we have left are 270cm
Unbranched
Yep..., i'm tired of all the work....

Our story...Yucca faxoniana versus carnerosana

Yucca carnerosana is often described to be the same as Yucca Faxoniana, and also sold as yucca faxoniana through other companies!
As we are the only import-exporter of Yucca Faxoniana we want to clear up some things with our experience, and show that there are big differences.

We took the 2 biggest Y.Carnerosana we could find in our giant stock and put them next to a small and big Y.Faxoniana, as you can see in below pictures. Yucca Faxoniana makes a trunk and leaves that are at least twice as big as Carnerosana....if that is not enough proof take a look at the pictures of the leaf margins.

Detail of the yucca carnerosana, white hairs are much thicker than Faxoniana and very visable

Very special: Yucca linearis and rostrata forma cristata
Not the most beautiful ones yet, but very rear! We have never, in 25 years of field experience, ever found, seen  or grown a crest of Yucca rostrata or Yucca linearis. Right now these 2 plants are in our other nursery where we re-establish our rare plants...

Agave lechuguilla ssp
We have found this very nice spp of agave lecheguilla in Texas, it looks more like a agave then the original form and it grows together with Yucca faxoniana so it is like the normal Agave lechuguilla cold hardy to -18°C. now available!
