First of all we send you our best greetings for 2007!

The year 2006 was great, with sales tripling compared to last year. In order to keep up with this process we were forced to develop our business further.

In 2007 we are going to extend the nursery in Helden-Panningen with a new loading/unloading hall and 2.000 m2 glasshouses of 6 m high. So in total we will have 12.000 m2 glasshouses at our headquarters, where we keep our main stock of Yucca's from Mexico and North America. After finishing that, the front of our nursery and the parking lot of 1200 m2 will be totally renewed.

Apart from its huge collection of plants, Tropical Centre is well known for its life exotic animals, showgardens, statue's etc. We are always on the move and keep changing and extending our company in order to surprise and please our customers. We are in the middle of conctructing a ‘Natural history area', where stuffed and mounted bears and lions, skulls, minerals and more will be on display for sale. This fits into our concept of creating a complete environment in which plants, animals and other objects of nature all have their place and add to the exotic atmosphere. Of course we will keep you updated about this in our newsletters.

As you can see below we keep introducing new Yucca's and other plants, some of which offered for the very first time. We will ensure to keep our leading position as the world's largest Yucca wholesale import-export nursery! What about these unique giant branched Yucca rigida which were sold in 3 days without any promotion, and this is only an example…..

And what about these incredible big monster Yucca faxoniana! Again never offered before. The Yucca faxoniana is cold hardy up to -20C°, which makes it the best Yucca for outside. No match for the Yucca carnerosana which sometimes is sold as Y. faxoniana through other companies....We said it many times, there are considerable differences in size, cold hardiness and filaments.

These are rarely available worldwide!

The containers keep on coming in at the moment: We have a stock of 10.000 adult yucca's.....in the pictures you can see fresh Yucca elata, Yucca torreyi, Yucca faxoniana. Also we have potted hundreds of Yucca baccata, Agave neomexicana, and a unique hybrid of Agave lecheguilla and A. neomexicana, called Agave lecheguilla x neomexicana, this cross-breeding is very frost resistant and one of the best for outside gardening.
