Olive tree
The olive tree (Olea europaea) are traditionally used for its fruit (olives), which is eaten or used for oil extraction. Many people nowadays have an olive tree at home, in the garden or in pots as a patio plant. Olive trees like dry and subtropical summers and mild winters. Young branches all die off at temperatures below -4 ° C. and whole trees die in freezing below -15 ° C.
