Aurocaria angustifolia
Aurocaria angustifolia is a evergreen fast growing conifer with thick, tough and scale like leaves. The leaves are broad at the base, with razor-sharp edges. Leaves of Araucana are more narrow than those of angustifolia.The young trees have a pyramid-shaped crown, resembling a closed umbrella. In adult trees, the lower branches will abscise, changing the looks of the tree into an open umbrella, with the tip of the branches pointing upwards. Frost resistant -12°C.
