This beautiful and still rare offered Trachycarpus wagnerianus is a Trachycarpus specie, which is famous in Japan where they are very wanted because of its bonsai looking appearance. The Trachycarpus wagnerianus palm is one of the best hardypalms there is for your garden and is much more elegant than the wellknown Trachycarpus fortunei. Also the leaves are much more rigid and smaller than at the ordinary T.fortunei. Because of this they are less wind-sensitive and the old leaves preserve in contrast to T.fortuneialways the fan shaped leaves after a heavy storm! Also the leave fingers remain in model. The winterhardiness of T.wagnerianusis the same as the well-known T.fortunei: -12°C to -17°C. One of the best gardenpalms for outside cultivation in Europe!
