Agave striata is a compact growing Agave forming multiple rosettes. The plants are stemless and it lives on after flowering, unlike the usual century-plant tendency to flower once and die. This native of the mountains of central Mexico occurs in blue and green in the wild. Frost resistant till -9°C.
