Collection: Chamaerops humilis cerifera

Chamaerops humilis 'cerifera' grows in the Atlas mountains in Marocco up to 1700 m.
It is a specie with multiple trunks and can reach a height of 2.50 till 3.50 m.
Its main attraction is the colour of the leaves, an intense blue-silver like Brahea armata.
This palm offers all a palm-enthusiast could wish for.
It is as robust and adaptable as its regular green relative and happy in a wide range of conditions, tolerating extremes of cold -13°C, as well as heat and drought or full sun to shade.
However, with our climate in the Netherlands we advise to protect it against rain in winter.
